Corona Virus Update

In light of the recent Government announcement to restrict social contact we understand that many of our clients are currently in a confused state as to the current status of their wedding or event.

As a supplier to the wedding, events and hospitality industries we are fully aware of the stress and uncertainty that you may be feeling at this moment. The sad reality is that for some people, the big day they have been looking forward to for a long time is on the verge of not taking place.

88 Events is currently taking the advice of the UK Government which is to severely restrict social interaction unless totally necessary.

At this difficult moment, we must all realise that the government advice is there for a reason, namely to slow the spread of this terrible virus and ensure that the NHS can cope with the inevitable rise in serious cases. Peoples’ lives are at risk and we all have a duty to act responsibly.

If this means your wedding or event should not take place then we implore all our clients to follow this advice.

Our policy as it stands, is that from this moment onward we will honour any orders that have been confirmed and are now required to be postponed.

Please do not worry at this stage if you do not have a new date.

We will do our level best to ensure that we can fulfil your order at a later date.

If due to high demand we cannot give you the exact items you ordered we will provide a suitable alternative at no additional cost.

Finally, we reiterate the government advice to do all you can to stay safe and please refer to the various government websites for advice on this.
